Tightbolt's design process has two principles. The first principle is to work directly with clients to involve them in the design process.
Bringing our client's visions to life is only possible by developing a clear understanding of the client's goals. Tightbolt talks with its clients about more than coding and web-pages. We discuss emotion, message, and impression. Environment, sensation, and mood play a part as well.
Design is a visceral thing. It can make laughter or tears, anger or love. For a clients' design to be effective, we feel we must explore it fully.
It sounds very zen, but by understanding where our client is coming from, we can understand the soul of the design if you will, and where it needs to go.
No less important is our commitment to the site's audience.
Ease of use, navigation, and interaction are primary goals for Tightbolt. And while a "wow" response is a nice compliment, we are really looking for the head nodding, smiling user who can quickly and easily accomplish their tasks.
Ideally, we will shoot for the 'big red button' solution. The closer we can get to simplifying tasks and processes down to a single big red button, the better.
Tightbolt is always looking at new ways to deliver successful experiences to both our clients and their customers.
